Farouk Café is a Chandler, Arizona coffee company that sources Arabica and fine Robusta at origin in Colombia and Vietnam and roasts them in Arizona.
Farouk Café did not begin as a traditional business plan. It grew out of a period of personal transition for its founder, when a visit to a coffee farm turned an existing interest in coffee into something much deeper. One farm visit led to more, and exploring varieties, processes and regions became a pursuit of learning, travelling, tasting and building relationships. Today the team travels to growing regions, meets producers, processors and coffee professionals, cups and selects lots, and roasts them in Arizona for customers, cafés and business partners. Farouk Café sources Robusta as well as Arabica, convinced that carefully grown and processed Robusta can offer real quality. Colombia and Vietnam are the current origins, with new ones added only when the company actually sources there.
