Coffee Society is a specialty coffee micro roaster in Berkeley, CA, founded in 2023 by Sherry Quach. We roast single-origin, Q graded 85+ coffee to order and ship within 24 hours, so every bag arrives fresh. Each quarter we release a small set of seasonal lots with fruity and juicy or chocolatey and nutty profiles. Once a coffee variety sells out, it's gone for good. Every bag lists the varietal, processing method, farm, and the brew method we recommend. We offer coffee subscriptions matched to how you brew (espresso, pour over, or rotating single origins), and wholesale coffee supply for cafés and offices across Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and the Bay Area. Farmers are paid fairly, and every offering comes with a story.
