Family-run Indonesian specialty roaster in the Inland Empire (Fontana), California, founded in 2023 by Bella and Rei. Single-origin Indonesian coffees from Sumatra, Bali and Java, sourced directly from farmer cooperatives.
Our Story
Ruang Kopi was born out of early parenthood and a lifelong love of Indonesian coffee. Founders Bella and Rei grew up in Indonesia, surrounded by extraordinary coffee from the misty highlands of Toraja to the volcanic slopes of Bali, the deep forests of Sumatra, and the ancient estates of Java. After their first child arrived, they set out to share that coffee with the world. They work directly with Indonesian farmer cooperatives, including the Gunung Tujuh (Mount Tujuh) group in Kerinci, which supports more than 450 farmers and active women's groups.
