We're Casa Hogar - a Latino-Owned Specialty Micro-Roaster based in Gainesville, Georgia, dedicated to honoring the intricate work and passion of producers worldwide through direct trade and mindful roasting! We like to think of our beans as "roasted to make a difference," not only because of the impact they have on your taste buds, but because of the impact each bag has on the lives of others through our partnership with our sister 501c3 Non-Profit Casa Hogar INTL.
Casa Hogar Coffee began as a project with one mission: to honor the legacy of our heritage through intricate roasting. We started roasting in 2018, but the roots of Casa Hogar date back as far as Honduras in the 1980's when a man named Victor Rodas (Co-Owner Ian's late grandfather) started a home to rehabilitate and educate people in need. Coincidentally, he called it "Casa Hogar". Fast forward several decades, and the vision remains the same as we (as Casa Hogar Coffee) partner with our sister non-profit (Casa Hogar INTL) to rehabilitate and educate those in need in the land of our roots, Honduras. Our dedication is to impact, not just through helping fund Casa Hogar INTL, but through ensuring meaningful direct trade with producers, so we can highlight the work they do by being the final stop before their labor meets the cups of consumers.
