Thinkwell is a craft coffee roaster in Waverly, Iowa, building its roasting process around the batch and hand-selecting the coffees for each one. Every bag is marked with its Finish Roast Temperature: Low Temp for bright, complex third-wave roasts, High Temp for strong, caramelized traditional ones.
I want to take what I have, and what I have access to, and bend it towards the light. In our practices and partnerships, we want to put people and the earth first. The entire hope of our work is to give people good things: meaningful work, positive products, made in harmony with the earth. We believe that life and work should be beautiful. This belief is not abstract; it is a practice, a way of life. We are building a community of people from around the world who desire to provide material security, purpose, and work for each other through our collective coffee purchases. We are able to do this for each other by being a network of coffee drinkers, roasters, brokers, millers, and farmers who all share the same core values.
