Battlecreek Coffee Roasters started with coffee roasted in modified popcorn makers and on sheet pans in the oven — and it grew into a full obsession. In 2019, the founders bought a Diedrich IR-5 roaster and their first bags of green coffee and made it a reality. All profits from the business go toward supporting local nonprofits dedicated to breaking the cycle of human trafficking, right in their own backyard.
