ARDITO Fuel Coffee is a small batch specialty roaster in Dearborn, Michigan, founded by registered nurse Shadi Shami. Coffee is roasted to order and shipped nationwide, with a line of Riserva blends built for espresso and milk drinks alongside a washed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe single origin. Green coffee comes from trusted importers and each roast is independently third party tested for purity. Bags come in 12oz, 2.2lb and 5lb, whole bean or ground, plus K-Cups and a subscribe and save option.
ARDITO started with Shadi Shami's wife, also a registered nurse, whose daily coffee ritual introduced him to espresso. They bought a machine and he was hooked, but finding genuinely fresh coffee locally proved frustrating: premium prices paid to large roasting companies, and still not enjoying the cup. So he set out to learn the process himself, bought an entry level roaster and started experimenting. Curiosity turned into obsession, and after a run of mistakes, late nights and research he began producing coffee that felt cleaner, fresher and more intentional. As his skills improved he upgraded the equipment, refined the process, and friends started asking for bags of their own. ARDITO grew out of that momentum. As a nurse he says the weight of decisions that affect patients demands clarity, so every morning starts with coffee out of intention rather than habit, one moment in the day that belongs entirely to him. In his own words: I did not build ARDITO to sell coffee, I built it because I needed it and so did everyone around me.
