Roasted on the shores of Lake Superior. Incorporated in 2012 on the shores of the world's largest freshwater lake (by surface area), the coffee roasting business with its namesake set sail and began the journey of bringing fresh roasted coffee to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and beyond. Superior Coffee Roasting Co. continues to grow and succeed because of the great staff and coffee roasting professionals we have who know the art of creating an amazing, consistent, and flavorful product, combined with customer service that is, well, also superior. We offer a variety of services both retail and wholesale. Meet the owner: it is hard to say if there was ever a single eureka moment that launched the business, but one thing is certain: Ron Kurnik loves coffee and loves to build a brand. With more than 20 years of business experience, what motivates him each day is creating a product people can thoroughly enjoy and be excited to share with others. We're always interested and keeping on top of what's developing and happening with coffee, and in the process bringing a great finished product to our customers." Ron has traveled around the globe gaining an appreciation for the industry, from small coffee farming in Northern Panama, to trade and transport logistics, and ultimately roasting and distributing the final product.
