Est. 2009

Colorado River Coffee Roasters is a micro-roastery in Boulder City, Nevada, roasting specialty-grade arabica since 2009 for coffee shops, restaurants, offices and home brewers around the Las Vegas valley. They sell whole bean only, never pre-ground, in 12 ounce and 5 pound bags, and a good part of the range is USDA Organic.
The CRCR roastery sits in Boulder City, Nevada, a town that started life as the construction camp for the workers who built the Hoover Dam. The Colorado River has inspired everyone who has looked at what it carved, from the Grand Canyon to Marble Canyon and a hundred valleys and tributaries between Wyoming and Mexico, and it makes people who live near its banks think on a grand scale. That is what Colorado River Coffee Roasters set out to do in 2009: think on the scale of perfect coffee. Freshness drives the rest of how they work. They sell whole beans only, because grinding exposes coffee to air, and they pack in multi-layer bags with degassing valves to keep oxygen and light off the beans.
