About
Turnstile Coffee Roasters is a family-owned specialty roaster and cafe on Highway 71 in Belmar, one mile from the Jersey Shore. Small batches are roasted in-house fresh every day, with beans from Latin America, Africa and Indonesia.
Our Story
Turnstile has been roasting on the Jersey Shore since 2011, one mile from the beach. Every small batch is roasted in-house, fresh every day, from three regions: Latin America, Africa and Indonesia. The coffee has been Top Rated by The Coffee Review, earning 95 points. A curated pour over menu is what sets the bar apart. Order an espresso, cappuccino, latte, brewed coffee or cold brew in the cafe, or take home a 12oz retail bag of whole beans and brew it yourself. Dave runs the roast, dialing in every batch on the in-house San Franciscan and keeping the cup tasting like Turnstile season after season. Sarah, the very first employee, has been behind the bar since the doors opened in 2011. The wholesale program brings the same fresh-roasted coffee to shops, cafes, restaurants and churches across the Shore.
