Soul Cafe Coffee Roasters is a family-owned Brooklyn specialty coffee roaster and cafe, with a shop at 478 Halsey St in Bedford-Stuyvesant and a roasting lab at 158 27th St in Sunset Park. Soul Cafe roasts single-origin coffees and blends built around community, craftsmanship, and culture, and also offers wholesale coffee and hands-on cafe consulting.
Soul Cafe grew out of a family's move from corporate life in Toronto to a roastery in Brooklyn, driven by a mission to transform spaces through exceptional coffee. Their approach rests on four pillars: Community & Collaboration, Craftsmanship & Consistency, Culture & Connection, and Consciousness & Creativity, with precise, documented roast profiles and a focus on building community with local cafes, artists, and coffee producers. Alongside its retail shop and roasting lab, Soul Cafe offers wholesale partnerships and hands-on support for other cafes, from staff training to workflow and equipment guidance.
