Neutron Coffee Roasters is a small-batch roastery in Deep River Ontario. We're guided by ethics, environmental stewardship, and a commitment to building stronger communities. Our producers are small independent farmers and co-ops who are paid above fair trade prices, ensuring real impact at origin. From farmgate to cup, we’re building a better coffee supply chain, one rooted in transparency and sustainability.
I started Neutron Coffee Roasters to prove that a business could be genuinely different. For most companies coffee is a commodity. It's a thing to buy low, sell high, and make lots of money. But, wealth comes at a cost. That same pile of wealth is built at the cost of environmental degradation and the hard work of average people who break their backs to just get by. But, why does a business have to be built on extraction? Why can’t it be built on contribution instead? What if I could build a business built on sustainability that's a force for good; one that narrows the gap of inequality instead of widening it? That question became the seed of Neutron Coffee. I'm passionate about coffee and I'm building a company that is: - Driven by social good, not profit. - Rooted in community, not extraction. - Here to serve workers, farmers, neighbours, and the earth; not shareholders and certainly not my ego.
