UPWard Coffee

UPWard Coffee is a small-batch organic roastery in Houghton, Michigan, on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Owner and head roaster Darin Ward roasts a single single-sourced organic bean each season to five roast levels: light, medium, full city, dark and espresso, plus an Organic Swiss Water Process decaf, using computer-logged profiles and one fixed batch size to keep every roast consistent.
