Small-batch coffee roaster and mobile coffee caterer in Manchaca (Austin), TX, single-origin beans from Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, roasted to order, plus a coffee trailer for events across Central Texas.
Pepperbox Coffee and Roasting is a small-batch roaster and coffee-catering outfit rooted in Manchaca, just south of Austin, Texas. Run by head roaster Nicholas Buchanan and Annmarie, Pepperbox takes its name, and its revolver-cylinder-of-coffee-beans logo, from the old multi-barrel pepperbox pistol, a nod to the team's Texas roots and the belief that great coffee, like a well-made tool, should be dependable and built to last. The roastery sources green beans through long-standing, direct relationships with growers: its Colombia Cundinamarca, for instance, comes from a farmer the team connected with through a mutual friend at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic and has been a staple for over two years. Beyond the bag, Pepperbox brings the coffee to you, a fully equipped coffee trailer and push cart cater weddings, gatherings and events across Travis, Hays and Williamson counties in the heart of Texas. Every batch is roasted to order and built around balance, sweetness and versatility, whether you're brewing a pour-over at home or pulling shots for a crowd.
