Numinous Coffee Roasters

To Numinous, numinous is the feeling of being in the presence of something greater than yourself. An amazing sunset. The first time your child's fingers wrap around one of yours. Standing on top of a mountain and taking it all in. Music that takes you there. Or simply a cup of really excellent coffee, shared with friends. That idea runs through the cafe and roastery on FM 1431. Freshly prepared, made-from-scratch tastes best, so the ingredient lists stay as short as possible and as much as possible is made on site: the coffee is roasted in house, the bread and english muffins are baked in house, and the flavored syrups are made in house too. Suggestions, recipes and ideas from customers are welcome, because at its best the shop is simply a reflection of the community around it. Alongside the cafe, Numinous roasts for coffee shops, restaurants, churches and other businesses, offers private label, and ships coffee all over the country. Through Numinous Serves the shop also runs disaster relief: over 7,500 loaves of bread delivered during the COVID lockdowns, the trailer deployed to the Trails Fire in Horseshoe Bay, 800 people fed in Lake Charles, Louisiana after Hurricane Laura, and over 800 meals prepared during the Big Freeze of 2021.
