Blanchard's Coffee Co.

Blanchard's Coffee Co. began in 2005 as a passion project for founder, David Blanchard. Shortly after getting started, Ukrops, a regional grocery chain with 26 stores, picked up the brand. This established Blanchard's Coffee Co. as a wholesale coffee roaster and shaped the company's vision moving forward. Between 2005 and 2019, the company focused on building strong wholesale partnerships with grocery retailers, cafes, and restaurants throughout the region while also building a nationwide audience through its direct to consumer web-store. In late 2019, Blanchard's opened its first brick and mortar retail cafe, and followed that location's success with two more cafe openings in 2020. In spite of the retail cafes overwhelming success in the Richmond, Virginia area, the foundation of Blanchard's business is still wholesale partnerships with retailers throughout the US. With product placement in over 500 retail storefronts throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, including Kroger, Target, Wegmans, Publix, Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, Food Lion, Wal-Mart, and dozens of independent retailers, the Blanchard's Coffee Co. brand continues to grow and thrive in its mission of good work in service of great coffee.
