About
Kansas City's first Latin and Indigenous coffee house and roastery — specializing in Latinx and Indigenous espresso drinks, traditional foods, and ceremonial Yerba Mate.
Our Story
Founded by the familia Miel Castagna-Herrera, Curtis Herrera, and Dulcinea Herrera, Café Corazón is deeply rooted in family, ancestry, and love for community. Drawing from Miel's Argentine heritage and Curtis's Mescalero Apache and Méxican roots, our menu and mission are a reflection of rich traditions, ancestral reverence, and cultural pride.
