After Midnight Roasting Co is a small batch coffee roaster in Anchorage, Alaska, run by three lifelong Alaskans and formerly known as Uncle Leroy's Coffee. They roast to order in 2 lb batches and supply cafes, markets and lodges from Anchorage out to Talkeetna.
Uncle Leroy's Coffee got its start on a 1968 bus that once belonged to an outlaw preacher in Big Lake, Alaska. The bus was repurposed into a mobile coffee bar, and in the beginning the coffee was pan roasted on the road. That business has since been rebranded as After Midnight Roasting Co, run by Rosie, Bridgette and Nick, three lifelong friends born and raised in Alaska with deep roots in their community. They roast on a scale of 1 to 10, from a #0 Blonde Bombshell up to a #7 Cuban Style, and the Bus Blend still pays respects to the blue bus where it started.
