About

Specialty coffee roastery in Portland, Oregon's Central Eastside industrial district, founded in 2022 by Alex Olson. Light, bright and delicate roast profiles built on direct producer relationships, with rotating single-origin and experimental-process coffees.

Our Story

Mae Coffee Roasters is a specialty roastery in the heart of Portland's Central Eastside industrial district, founded by Alex Olson in the spring of 2022. Mae is built as a creative, artistic expression that creates community, meaning and love through beautiful, delicate and unique coffees. Its values center on community, transparency and amazing coffee, sourced hand in hand with partner producers and importing partners so the team can return to the same farms year after year. Roasting light, bright and delicate profiles, Mae aims to bring out each coffee's natural and unique character, whether served at events, in a cafe, at the roastery, or through its wholesale program.
