Small batch specialty coffee roaster in Prather, California, in the Sierra foothills east of Fresno. Valley View Ranch sources coffees from independent farms and producers around the world, all scoring 85 points or higher on the SCA cupping scale, and roasts each one for the profile that makes that particular bean taste its best rather than forcing it into a light, medium or dark box. Coffees are organised by flavour instead of roast level: Berries and Floral, Nutty and Caramel Sugars, Chocolate and Nuts, Dark Roast, and a Reserve Line for unusual processes and origins.
