Pattern Coffee Roasters is a micro-batch specialty roaster based in the Otis Orchards area near Spokane, Washington. Named after the biblical call to be "a pattern of good works" from Titus 2:7, they source exceptional green coffees and roast in small batches with meticulous attention to detail. Their rotating lineup features unique single-origin coffees from regions like Brazil and Africa, each carefully profiled to bring out natural character and origin flavors.
Pattern Coffee was born out of a simple belief: what you believe most deeply should impact your actions in a profound way. What started as a couple of coffee enthusiasts roasting for themselves grew into a small community-focused operation in Otis Orchards, near Spokane, Washington. Their roasting philosophy is straightforward: discover superior green coffee, roast in micro batches, and chase small improvements with every single roast. While coffee is not their day job, the passion runs deep. Every batch is an experiment, refined through trial and error to find the ideal roast profile. They serve their neighbors with convenience and variety, keeping a few fan favorites on hand while constantly introducing new and unique coffees in small quantities. For John and the Pattern team, each morning starts with a grateful heart and great coffee, roasted to fuel good works.
