From Capitol Hill to Ballard to the Eastside, small-batch roasters source directly from farms across the globe, roast in-house, and serve some of the best coffee you'll find anywhere.

Washington's coffee scene extends well beyond Seattle. Tacoma, Olympia, and Bellingham each have thriving roaster communities with their own identities, Olympia Coffee Roasting and Bellingham Coffee Roasters among them. The Tri-Cities, Spokane, and Walla Walla bring specialty coffee to eastern Washington, where Spokane's roasters include Roast House Coffee, proving that craft roasting has taken root across the entire state, not just the I-5 corridor.

The state's proximity to the Port of Seattle, one of the largest green coffee import hubs in the U.S., gives local roasters access to some of the freshest beans available.
