KAHA Coffee Roasters is a small-batch specialty roaster in Amesbury, Massachusetts, founded by Tyler Workman. Tyler grew up in New Zealand chasing flat whites, moved to the US, and started roasting in a popcorn popper because he could not find the cup he remembered; the name comes from the Maori phrase Kia Kaha, "stay strong". KAHA roasts a core lineup of blends alongside rotating seasonal single origins, brings green coffee in under hermetic GrainPro seal, and sells direct to door, wholesale to cafes, restaurants and farm stands, and as a toll roaster for private and white label.

East View Coffee Company is a small-batch roaster and cafe in downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin, founded by Jenny Ulbricht. Nearly all of East View's green coffee comes from women producers - a commitment that began at just over 50% of the lineup and now runs close to 100% - bought through direct relationships with farms in Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. Coffee is roasted two days a week on 58th Street and shipped carbon-neutral, and the shop doubles as a tasting room and community space.

Gnosis Coffee Roasters is a one-person roastery in central Pennsylvania run by founder Jed Epler, roasting small batches of specialty coffee on a Typhoon fluid bed air roaster rather than the usual drum. The lineup stays deliberately small: mostly single origins, a couple of blends, roasted fresh to order and shipped free over $40.

Aerís Roasting Co is a two-brother micro-roastery in Iroquois, in east central South Dakota, run by Shawn and Brandon Ensz. Per'La Specialty Roasters is a Miami roastery founded in 2015 by Chris Nolte and Paul Massard, a Certified Q Grader, roasting to order out of a facility on SW 71st Avenue. The range runs from single origins in Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala through espresso and cold brew blends and two water processed decafs, sold direct and wholesale to hotels and coffee shops.

S&W Craft Roasting is a two-person roastery in Coatesville, Indiana, run by Nick and Charlie, with no storefront: everything is roasted on demand and shipped. They focus on single-origin coffees, split between lighter single origins and medium roast blends, and roast to highlight what the origin already tastes like rather than roast over it.

Koffee Geeks is a family owned small batch roastery and cafe in Circleville, Ohio, run by husband and wife team Mike and Jodi. Their Espresso Blend took a bronze medal at the 2024 Golden Bean awards, and everything is roasted in house on a Stronghold roaster.

Wild Nomad Elephant Coffee was created as a way to help keep the jungle standing and bring Asian elephants back home to live free-roaming in the forests of Northern Thailand. Coffee became the perfect way to protect the jungle, create a path for elephants to return home, and work with farmers as true partners. Wild Nomad works directly with more than 70 Karen farming families who grow Arabica beneath the mature jungle canopy, without synthetic inputs, creating an economic alternative to clearing the forest for crops like corn. Wild Nomad buys the coffee directly from its farming partners in Thailand, imports it to Portland, and small-batch roasts it locally.
